Wikstrom's Escavalier appeared in the second round of the The Castle of Chivalry training trial from behind a wall and attacked Goh's Scyther.
It had a training battle with Drasna's Altaria just before Drasna would face off against Ash Ketchum in a Pokémon World Championships Hyper Class battle. The battle ended when Drasna's Altaria used Heat Wave on Escavalier causing it to visibly steam.
