For 10 weeks straight, we will air what we've chosen to be the best episodes from the entire Pokémon anime series! This time we'll air "Pikachu VS Nyarth!?".
Summary:
In order to commemorate the premiere of "Pocket Monsters the Movie: I Choose You!", we will bring you the favorite episodes of 10 people overflowing with love for Pokémon, chosen from the entire 20 full years of the Pokémon anime series, for 10 weeks straight! This time we will show "Pikachu VS Nyarth!?", which was selected by Ikue Ohtani, the voice of Pikachu.
As Satoshi and his friends continue their journey with the goal of participating in the Orange League they get completely fooled by a trap set by the Rocket Gang, resulting in Pikachu getting abducted. This time, the Rocket Gang are heavily equipped in order to avoid failing like they usually do. They use insulated protectors to shut down Pikachu's electricity, then tie Pikachu to Nyarth's body on top of that...
