The official Japanese Pokémon website announced that the Pokémon Centers in Japan would each offer a special event Pokémon during the summer of 2013 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Pokémon. A battle strategy card was also be distributed with each Pokémon. One of the seven Pokémon was also distributed randomly from July 3rd, 2013 until July 7th, 2013.
