Pokémon Sleep has announce that Version 1.10.0 will be released on August 1st, 2024, and it adds New Features and includes Bug Fixes.

Maintenance and Version 1.10.0 Update

To update to the app’s new version, maintenance will be conducted in the following time period.

Maintenance Period Starts: 2024/07/31 21:00br> Ends: 2024/08/01 01:00

New Features

■ Preparations for future events
For details, please see the announcements posted at a later date.

Addition of a new feature: Good-Night Ribbon

Helper Pokémon can get Good-Night Ribbons based on the amount of sleeping time you’ve shared.

Getting a Good-Night Ribbon will raise some of a Pokémon’s helping stats.

The effects the ribbon has on stats depend on which of the four levels of Good-Night Ribbon it is, and these levels are unlocked based on the amount of sleeping time shared with that helper Pokémon.

• Ribbon level 1: 200 hours of sleeping time shared
• Carry limit +1
• Ribbon level 2: 500 hours of sleeping time shared
• Carry limit +2
• If the Pokémon can still evolve once (example: Pikachu), its helping frequency is shortened by 5%
• If the Pokémon can still evolve twice (example: Pichu), its helping frequency is shortened by 11%
• Ribbon level 3: 1,000 hours of sleeping time shared
• Carry limit +3
• Special profile icon of that helper Pokémon
• Ribbon level 4: 2,000 hours of sleeping time shared
• Carry limit +2
• If the Pokémon can still evolve once (example: Pikachu), its helping frequency is shortened by 7% (for a total of 12% shorter)
• If the Pokémon can still evolve twice (example: Pichu), its helping frequency is shortened by 14% (for a total of 25% shorter)

Note: Each level’s effects will be added as you unlock them.

Example: If you unlock ribbon level 2 with Pichu (a Pokémon that can still evolve twice), you’ll get the effects of ribbon level 2 in addition to the effects of ribbon level 1.

Therefore, that particular Pokémon will get three effects from the ribbon: +1 to its carry limit from the ribbon level 1 bonus, plus an additional +2 to its carry limit and 11% shorter helping frequency from the ribbon level 2 bonus.

Game Contents

■ Adjustment that allows helper Pokémon with the Skills specialty to bank main skill uses

Until now, for all helper Pokémon, a main skill would not trigger again until it has been used once. After this adjustment, Pokémon with the Skills specialty will be able to bank up to two uses of their main skill.

Notes: After this adjustment, when you tap on a helper Pokémon with a magnifying glass over its head on the home screen, if the Pokémon has the Skill specialty, it will sometimes use its main skill twice at one time.

Pokémon that don’t have the Skills specialty can only bank one use of their main skill.

You can see your helper Pokémon’s specialty in the upper right of the Pokémon’s details screen (from the home screen, tap Pokémon, then Pokémon Box, then tap on an individual Pokémon).

Rewards when you’ve reached the max area bonus

If you’ve reached the max area bonus, your 5% area bonus increase will be automatically divided and distributed across other areas.

Example: If you have reached the max area bonus for Greengrass Isle and have the areas up to Snowdrop Tundra unlocked, the 5% area bonus increase that would normally go to Greengrass Isle will be shared amongst Cyan Beach (+2%), Taupe Hollow (+2%), and Snowdrop Tundra (+1%).

■ Unlocking the limits for research rank, helper Pokémon levels, and more
• Research rank: 55 → 60
• Pokémon level: 55 → 60
• Max levels of certain main skills: 6 → 7
• Ingredient Magnet S
• Extra Helpful S
• Cooking Power-Up S
Note: Other main skills’ max levels are scheduled to be gradually unlocked in later updates.
• Recipe level: 55 → 60
• Max expanded capacity of the bag’s ingredients pocket: 600 → 700

■ Addition of three-star sleep styles to the sleep styles that can be discovered on Greengrass Isle
We will add multiple three-star Pokémon sleep styles to the sleep styles that can be seen during sleep research on Greengrass Isle.

Increase to Strength gains from certain dishes

The Strength gains from some dishes that don’t require many ingredients will be increased slightly.

■ Bedtime rewards increase
Some of the rewards you can get by sticking to your bedtime will increase.

■ Sleep research rewards increase
The amount of research EXP and Dream Shards you can get from sleep research will increase slightly.
Note: Adjustments will focus mainly on sleep styles that require a low amount of Drowsy Power.

■ Adjustment to game function when you edit your team
After the adjustment, whenever you change which Pokémon are on your team—even if you only change one Pokémon—any banked main skills that are ready to use for any of the Pokémon on your team will be canceled.

We are making this adjustment to prepare for a wide variety of main skills that we plan to implement in the future.
