To commemorate the 30th Anniversary Pokémon, the Pokémon Baseball Festival 2026 ~Putting 30 Years of Memories into the Ball~ has been announced and special Pokémon GO events will take place at the stadiums.

It's been 30 years since the release of the game Pocket Monsters Red and Green. On Friday, February 27th, 2026, Pokémon celebrated its 30th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, the Pokémon Baseball Festival 2026 ~Putting 30 Years of Memories into the Ball~ campaign has been announced!

Throughout the 2026 professional baseball season, various initiatives will be held, including Pokémon-themed games with all 12 professional baseball teams (*), sales of original Pokémon merchandise, and special Pokémon GO events!

12 Professional Baseball Teams and Pokémon GO Form a Special Tag Team!? Catch a Special Pikachu at Each Team's Home Stadium!

A new collaboration between Pokémon GO and 12 professional baseball teams in Japan has been announced! Throughout the 2026 professional baseball season, special events will be held within Pokémon GO at each team's home stadium.

Raids and Timed Research will be held on designated game dates at each stadium.

Raids

Special Raids will be held at newly established Gyms at each stadium on designated dates. The following Pokémon will appear in these Raids. Winning the Raids gives you a chance to catch this Pokémon. Caught Pokémon may feature a Location Background.

Visit each stadium to receive a limited-time Timed Research. Completing it rewards you with encounters featuring Pokémon perfect for the event.

PokéStops to be installed throughout the 2026 season

From the opening day of the 2026 season until the end of the league's official games, PokéStops featuring a special Pikachu image will be installed at each team's home stadium. Please visit the stadiums and enjoy them even on days outside the event schedule.
