A notice indicating the current issues with Pokémon Champions was posted on April 9th, 2026 and it indicated that the following fixes are being worked on for a future patch.

Known Issues With Fixes Underway

• The explanatory text for the Leech Seeded status is incorrect.

Incorrect: The Pokémon takes damage equal to 1/16 of its max HP
Correct: The Pokémon takes damage equal to 1/8 of its max HP

Please note that this calculation is already performed correctly during battles.

• When both players’ Pokémon Mega Evolve simultaneously under certain conditions, the turn order may behave incorrectly.
• Gender is displayed incorrectly for certain Pokémon within the tutorial.
• Gender is displayed incorrectly for certain Pokémon in shared Replica Teams.
• When a Pokémon has the Encore status, the Ability Lightning Rod may not activate correctly.
• When you look at move details during battle while your cursor is on the MEGA EVOLVE option and then press the B Button, you will become unable to select a move.

If this issue occurs, opening the forfeit window with the − Button then closing it again will allow you to select a move and avoid becoming stuck in this state.

The above issues are planned to be resolved in a future data update or through maintenance.

Resolved Issues

• A communication error would sometimes occur when sending Pokémon to visit from Pokémon HOME.

This issue has been resolved so that an error will no longer prevent players from withdrawing their Pokémon or having their Pokémon visit Pokémon Champions.

Going forward, we will also be investigating issues outside of those listed above.
