Move Selection UI Adjustments for Battle Prep screen

To address feedback such as "forgetting to adjust move sets after choosing a Pokémon" or "the adjustment area is difficult to find," adjustments have been made to the move selection UI for Battle Prep screen. With these adjustments, currently selected move sets for the chosen Pokémon will now be displayed on the battle preparation screen. Furthermore, players can tap the designated area or press the corresponding button to open the move selection screen directly for smoother adjustments.

Adjustment Details

Changes have been made to some Pokémon stats and moves to adjust the balance of Unite Battles.

Aegislash
Since Aegislash had struggled to perform effectively in Unite Battles due to being unable to fully withstand attacks from mid-to-long-range opponents, the shield amount of Wide Guard has been increased and its cooldown has been shortened.

  • Wide Guard
    • Shield amount: 10% increase
    • Cooldown: 8.5s → 8s

Gyarados
To allow Gyarados to more actively jump into the opponent team's formations, the shield amount, damage, and hindrance capability of Bounce have been increased. Additionally, the power of Aqua Tail has been enhanced to strengthen its offensive options after jumping in.

  • Bounce
    • Shield amount: 10% increase
    • Damage: 15% increase
    • Duration opponents are thrown: 0.5s → 0.7s
  • Aqua Tail
    • Damage: 10% increase

Clefable
Since Gravity often failed to be used effectively due to a slow activation speed when attempting to protect allies from fast-attacking opponents, the start-up time of Gravity before activation has been shortened to improve its usability.

  • Gravity
    • Start-up time before move activation has been shortened

Umbreon
To strengthen its ability as a Defender to stand in front and protect allies, the damage reduction effect of Wish and the shield amount obtained from Snarl have been increased. Additionally, the energy requirement of its Unite Move has been reduced to allow for more active and impactful usage.

  • Wish
    • Damage reduction rate: 15% → 20%
  • Wish+
    • Damage reduction rate: 25% → 30%
  • Snarl
    • Shield amount: 15% of max HP → 20% of max HP
    • Shield duration: 2s → 3s
  • Unite Move: Moonlight Prance
    • Energy requirement: 100000 → 90000

Skeledirge
Given that Hyper Voice is a move designed to hit opposing Pokémon in front and deal higher damage to those behind them, its range felt too short. Therefore, the range of Hyper Voice has been adjusted. Additionally, to allow for a quicker response to opponents that suddenly close the distance, the start-up time and recovery time of Snarl has been reduced.

  • Hyper Voice
    • Range: 9m → 10m
  • Snarl
    • Start-up time and recovery time of Snarl has been reduced

Quaquaval
Since Low Sweep was slow to execute, frequently leaving Quaquaval vulnerable to being stopped by opponent hindrances or unable to deal burst damage quickly, the execution speed of the move has been adjusted to be faster. Additionally, the damage of Spinning Edge—the special basic attack triggered by its Ability Moxie—has been enhanced.

  • Ability: Moxie
    • Spinning Edge damage: 10% increase
  • Low Sweep
    • The move execution speed has been increased

Sylveon
Since the damage output of Hyper Voice after the previous buff was overperforming compared to expectations, the damage dealt when hitting opponents from a distance has been tuned down.

  • Hyper Voice
    • Damage dealt when hitting from a distance: 8% decrease

Typhlosion
Because its performance was overly strong due to simultaneously gaining mobility, shield effects, and dealing damage, the cooldown and shield amount of Flame Wheel have been reduced.

  • Flame Wheel
    • Cooldown: 7.5s → 8.5s
    • Shield amount: 10% decrease

Feraligatr
Feraligatr's signature playstyle is dealing massive damage with a powerful bite once successfully approaching opponents, but its ability to frequently close the distance with its Unite Move on target Pokémon was slightly too oppressive. Therefore, the frequency of its Unite Move has been lowered, and the damage dealt when utilizing it simply to approach opponents has been reduced.

  • Unite Move: Big Jaw Bite
    • Energy requirement: 80000 → 90000
    • Damage when no Fang marks from Crunch are applied: 20% decrease

Sirfetch'd
While possessing powerful effects that block opponent attacks and reduce damage, its ability to cover long distances even when failing to block an attack was too strong. Therefore, the distance traveled when Detect fails to block an attack has been adjusted to be the same as when an attack is successfully blocked.

  • Detect
    • Distance traveled when not blocking an attack has been adjusted to be the same as when an attack is blocked

Suicune
To better balance its strong long-range hindrance and damage capabilities, the cooldown of Whirlpool has been extended, and the charge recovery time of Ice Beam has been increased. Additionally, the frequency of its Unite Move usage has been lowered.

  • Whirlpool
    • Cooldown: 7.5s → 8s
  • Ice Beam
    • Charge recovery time: 7.5s → 8s
  • Unite Move: Endless Ice Spikes
    • Energy requirement: 90000 → 100000

Held Item Adjustments

To ensure a balanced environment based on win rates and usage rates, adjustments have been made to the effects of certain Held Items.

  • Rescue Hood
    • Increase to healing and shield effects granted to other ally Pokémon: 11%/14%/17% → 17%/20%/23%
  • Choice Scarf
    • Cooldown before the effect can trigger again: 8s → 6s
  • Rocky Helmet
    • Damage dealt to nearby opposing Pokémon: 1.2%/1.5%/1.8% of own max HP → 1.9%/2.2%/2.5% of own max HP

Bug Fixes

The following bugs have been fixed:

  • Fixed a bug where the HP recovery effect of Yveltal's Ability: Dark Aura would trigger multiple times if its immediate knock out effect was activated during the timing when certain Unite Move effects—such as those of Machamp or Urshifu (Rapid Strike Style)—remained active even after being knocked out.
  • Fixed a bug where a goal would be scored instantly if an ally Pokémon knocked out Kyogre while a goal was being charged.
  • Fixed a bug where opposing Pokémon put in a state of fear by Skeledirge's Snarl would move toward Skeledirge under specific conditions.
