The latest Pokemon movie Pocket Monsters Diamond and Pearl Arceus - Towards the Continuum of Conquest (劇場版ポケットモンスター ダイヤモンド・パール アルセウス 超克の時空へ) that was released in theaters in Japan on July 18th is heading to DVD later this year. Media Factory announced that the DVD will be released as expected on December 18th, 2009 for a suggested retail price of 4179 Yen. A Bluray version was not announced.

The DVD includes: the creditless movie version intro High Touch 2009, creditless ending, artwork, a Domino's Pizza coupon and trailers. Japanese subtitles are also expected to be on the DVD like last years movie, but have yet to be confirmed.

The English dub version of the movie was recently announced to air in North America sometime in 2009 but a release date for the English DVD has yet to be announced.
