Earlier today, the official Pokémon website announced the new launch date for Pokémon Global Link. The article was later removed and is no longer on the website. The article stated that the new launch date was April 13th, 2011 but it appears that is going to change. Below was the post on the official site.

The Pokémon Global Link is a new online service for Pokémon fans around the world! Starting April 13, you’ll be able to connect your copy of Pokémon Black Version or Pokémon White Version to the Pokémon Global Link for lots of fun activities.

Tuck in a Pokémon in your game and it will appear in the Pokémon Dream World, where you can befriend Pokémon, grow Berries, and collect items—and bring them all back to your game! Then check out the Global Battle Union, the best place to keep track of your online battle stats.

The Pokémon Global Link is completely free! All you’ll need is a Pokémon Trainer Club account that you can get right now at Pokemon.com.

They must have not had Pokemon Compnay Japan's approval to make that statement.
This has to be a Global Launch/relaunch, you know!

Did they remove the press release so the website doesn't get overwhelmed when it's launched? Because it seems kinda weird they'd randomly come up with April the 13th as the release date, then remove the press release a few hours later.

I'm not really confident about that website anymore... I've rarely seen such a strange launch for a website! I sure hope it'll be worth the wait, though. I'm really looking forward to 'befriend' some Pokémon in the Dream World.
