Sales figures for the week of August 14th, 2011 have been announced by vgchartz and Media Create which indicate that Super Pokémon Scramble for the Nintendo 3DS was one of the best selling game of the week. The Nintendo 3DS also had a 10000yen price drop which helped sales. Below are the top 5 selling games in Japan for the week of August 14th, 2011.

haha sweet i knew this would of happened after the price drop of the 3DS this is great hopefully it does well when its gets released outside of japan

Wow, it's really been a while since a 3DS game topped the charts in Japan... maybe because the last significant game to be released on the console was Starfox, in July... Well, at least things are going to imoprove significantly, now that its price had dropped, and that game are finally coming.
