The official Korean Pokémon website has announced that two new Korean Global Link Event download Pokémon will be available from August 25th, 2011 @ 15:00 until September 30th, 2011 @ 15:00. The first event is the Pokémon Global Link Popular Vote (포켓몬 인기투표) that started in June. The event is similar to the Japanese Global Link vote where Arceus ended up winning. The results are in for the Korean vote and Rayquaza (레쿠쟈) won. The password to unlock it is 「에어록」. Full details of the Rayquaza were not announced. Ditto came in 2nd place, Pikachu came in 3rd place, Kyorge in 4th place, Regigigias came in 5th place, Groudon came in 6th place, Giratina came in 7th place, Charizard came in 8th place, Lugia came in 9th place and finally Garchomp came in 10th place. Only Rayquaza will be distributed.

Also announced was a Togekiss (토게키스) which will also be distributed on the Korean Global Link. The password for the Togekiss will be posted on the Naver Fun Jr website. The Togekiss is the same as the one that is distributed on the Japanese Global Link to players on their birthday. No such restriction applies to the Korean version as players just need to enter the password to unlock it. Below are the details for the Togekiss.

I don't quite remember everything we've had on the US/Europe PGL (and not just the PGL, too... where are the Wifi downloads?), but I'm sure we never got as many special events, right? I really wonder why... it's not like they have tons of text to translate before they can have similar events outisde Japan(/Korea)...
