The official Pokémon movie website has updated. Translations follow:
We Will Have Inclusive Screenings!
This time, "Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution" will come with an audio guide for the visually impaired and Japanese subtitles for the hearing-impaired, both utilizing the "UDCast" system.
Audio guide: Those with mobile devices like smartphones, iPod Touch etc. that have the system's app installed can enjoy the movie with the audio guide at all theaters and all screening times.
Note that some Android devices are not compatible with the "UDCast" app, so please verify that the app works in advance.
Japanese subtitles: If you download the "UDCast" app to specially made glasses with caption display and attach the specially made mike, you can enjoy the movie with Japanese subtitles at all theaters and all screening times.
Shinjuku Piccadilly,
Aeon Cinema Theatus Chofu,
Kawasaki Cinecitta and
Osaka Station City Cinema all lend out such glasses to patrons. The glasses will need to be reserved in advance.
