The Pokémon Company International has announced an errata change to the Cyrus Prism Star card (120/156). Details of this change are below and have been added to our TCG Dex.

Errata for Cyrus Prism Star in Pokémon TCG: Sun & Moon Ultra Prism

This text change for the Supporter card Cyrus Prism Star will be effective immediately.

Due to an error in the card text for Cyrus Prism star (Sun & Moon—Ultra Prism, 120/156), the first part of this card will be changed. The original text for this Supporter card says:

You can't play this card if you don't have any W or M Pokémon in play.

Your opponent chooses 2 Benched Pokémon and shuffles the others, and all cards attached to them, into their deck.

The text will be changed to match the original intention of the card, which is that a player's Active Pokémon must be a W or M Pokémon.

The new Cyrus Prism star text will say:

You can play this card only if your Active Pokémon is a W or M Pokémon.

Your opponent chooses 2 Benched Pokémon and shuffles the others, and all cards attached to them, into their deck.

Effective immediately, Cyrus Prism star will use this updated text instead of the original text. This will be reflected in the Pokémon TCG Errata document.

POKÉMON TRADING CARD GAME: THE STARS WILL BE ALIGNED FROM 2 FEBRUARY 2018 WITH THE RELEASE OF SUN & MOON—ULTRA PRISM

The Pokémon Company International today announced Sun & Moon—Ultra Prism, a brand-new expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, launching in the UK on 2 February 2018.

Echoing the story line from the recently released video games Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon, this latest Pokémon TCG expansion is set in an alternate version of Sinnoh, one of the twisted parallel regions that players can reach by traveling through an Ultra Wormhole.

Sun & Moon—Ultra Prism will see a new gameplay mechanic coming to the Pokémon TCG with the introduction of Prism Star cards. These are powerful Pokémon and Trainer cards that, when played effectively, can dramatically alter the balance of a match. Due to their game-changing effects, a player can put only one Prism Star card with a given name in their deck (rather than the usual four).

The Sun & Moon—Ultra Prism expansion will feature:
  • Over 150 cards, including:
    • 6 Prism Star cards
    • 5 Ultra Beasts
    • 18 full-art cards
  • Booster packs will consist of:
    • 10 cards selected from the expansion, including at least 1 card of rare or higher rarity, plus an additional basic Energy card.
