Kazuhisa Uragami is an illustrator living in Tokyo, Japan. He studied the basics of illustration under Tatsuro Kiuchi and Zenji Funabashi at the illustration school Aoyamajuku. After that, he joined the atelier PEN STILL WRITES hosted by Tatsuro Kiuchi. He also works at an animation studio called Maison Hanko.

He mainly draw illustrations on book jackets, magazines, music and advertisements. Recently, his illustrations are drawn on a wide range of media other than printed materials such as on the web.

He has won prizes in global illustration competitions such as "American Illustration," "Society of Illustrators," "3x3 International Illustration Award," and "Bologna International Children's Book Fair," and his abilities are recognized overseas as well.
