Official Biography:
After a successful tour of duty as a radio personality in the Midwest and New York City, Dave moved to Los Angeles in 1984 to pursue a career in voice acting that has included commercials, film dubbing, looping, infomercials, narration and voice characterization in countless cartoons and video games.
Perhaps you’ ye heard Dave as news and sports announcers in films like Nixon, Eraser, The Waterboy, The Yards, Baseketball or The Siege; TV shows such as Everybody Loves Raymond and Roseanne; and commercials that include Visa, IHOP, Bud Ice, Energizer Batteries and Lexus.
Dave provided the daily intros and voice of Baboo’ for The Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers, gave voices to Angemon, Gekkomon and Upamon in Digimon, Pero in the film Metropolis, as well as assorted robots, parrots, soldiers, space jockeys, monsters, geeks, mutants, and ne’ er-do-wells in numerous anime projects and video games over the last twenty-plus years. If you’ve played World of Warcraft, Resident Evil Outbreak, Neverwinter Knights, Final Fantasy, Medal of Honor, and Tekken 5, Daves’ voice or death scream has rocked your world, dude.
In 2007 Dave was nominated for both Best Actor and Best Actor in a Comedy for the 1st Annual American Anime Awards held in New York City.
Commercially, Dave has provided a voice for the ‘Dow Scrubbing Bubble,’ the talking toothbrush for 1-800-Dentist and has spoken for Homebase, Budweiser, Coast Soap, Airtouch Cellular, Tiger Balm, AT&T Wireless, Nextel, Ameritech Yellow Pages and U.S. Cellular, among many, many others.
