Kathryn Newton is a Hollywood based actress for the film Pokémon: Detective Pikachu. Originally born in Orlando, Florida, Kathryn got her start in acting at the age of 5 with her role as Colby Chandler in All My Children, and continued booking roles from there. She was an avid golf player throughout her early school years, even wanting to join the 2012 U.S. Women's Open, but her obligations as an actress came first. She had also paused her attendance at USC to pursue her acting career even further. Some of her best works include Cassie Lang in the MCU, Alex in Paranormal Activity 4, and Claire Novak in Supernatural, among many other roles.
