A painter and Illustrator based in Tokyo. ​Kana Nakamura was born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1995. Non binary(they/them). A visual design major and graduate of Joshibi University of Art and Design, AOYAMAJUKU (Illustration school in Tokyo). KANA began working as an illustrator while attending university. They mainly works on book covers, magazine illustrations, and CD jacket designs. drew manga reportage of rural towns and published them online and in zines. Use Copic markers to draw scenes around you that you don't want to forget, like in a picture diary. From 2021 to 2022, the manga ”ゆうれい犬と街散歩 (Town walking with ghost dog)'' will be serialized and a book will be published. In 2022, they will publish a book "僕のちっぽけな人生を誰にも渡さないんだ (I won't give up my little life to anyone')" which is a collection of their picture diaries.Lately, they've been drawing flowers and puppies, and I want to create a heaven for dogs. IPPAN loves dogs, banyans, aquariums, and Banana Yoshimoto's novels. ​In 2024, They began working as a painter under their real name, Kana Nakamura.
