Biography
Diantha's Gourgeist was revealed during her Masters Eight tournament battle against Lance. It faced Lance's Gyarados (Red Gyarados) and was the second Pokémon she used in the match. The match-up was dictated by Trick-or-Treat making Gyarados a Ghost-type and Gourgeist using its Ghost-type moves to deal Super Effective damage against it. It swiftly defeated Gyarados. It then faced Lance's Hydreigon and was defeated.
