Raifort is a character that appears in the Paldea based Pokémon games (Scarlet and Violet).
Raifort serves as the player, Florian or Juliana's, history teacher, and seemingly has a disdain for much more modern things. She teaches the player about the history of the Paldean empire and Area Zero, as well as the Legends of Ruin.

Anime:

She is the teacher in charge of the history department at Orange Academy. Her partner is a prankster Zoroark. While normally a calm and composed teacher, it appears she gets very excited when she encounters something old and filled with a sense of romanticism.

Clavell and Geeta introduced Liko to Raifort as she is familiar with Terapagos and Rakua. While doing fieldwork to learn about the history of the Paldea region, she told Liko about Rakau from the history book, which she quoted and states: "Once upon a time, far beyond Paldea, a hundred days and nights away, there is a Pokémon paradise. The shining pink of Rakua."
