Battle against Iris' Axew

Iris asked to battle Cynthia's Garchomp with her Kibago as she was working on becoming a Dragon Master. Even before it the started, the battled seemed like Cynthia's Garchomp would win. Iris' Axew could not do any damage to Cynthia's Garchomp until it finally concentrated for a few moments and learned Giga Impact. While Giga Impact was able to do some damage to Cynthia's Garchomp, it quickly overpowered Iris' Axew until Cynthia decided to end the match before a finishing blow.

Exhibition Match at the Pokémon World Tournament Junior Cup VS Caitlin's Gothitelle

Caitlin's Gothitelle was sent out to battle against Cynthia's Garchomp as part of a 10 minute exhibition match at the start of the Pokémon World Tournament Junior Cup opening ceremonies. Cilan noted that the battle was two high quality vintages facing off to each other. During the battle, Cynthia's Garchomp' Dragon Rush landed a direct hit but Caitlin's Gothitelle was able to keep its presence of mind and stood up to continue the battle. Freddy O'Martian that it was an excellent battle and what he expected from an Elite Four members Pokémon and a Champions Pokémon. He couldn't decide which one was doing the best as they're both truly beautiful. The exhibition match ended in a draw.
