Biography
Heath is a researcher from over 200 years ago. During his lifetime, Heath and his crew set off into Paldea's Area Zero, sponsored by the Naranja or Uva Academies depending on the games. He was the first researcher to see and write about Terapagos, although he fell unconscious at the time. He claimed to meet a strange man, awakening with writings on Terapagos and having no memory of writing what he wrote. His crew also encounters other fantastical creatures that the player learns to be Iron Treads, Great Tusk, Gouging Fire, and Iron Crown.

Inspired by his adventures, he writes either the Scarlet or Violet Book and publishes it as a scientific study. His writings of what he saw, however, were considered too outlandish, and other scientists discredited his work, leading to him retiring in shame. A later copy of the book censors all mentions of the "Disc Pokémon", due to it being considered nonsense. The only copy with the original manuscript is passed down to his family which ends up in his descendant, Briar's, hands. He died with no fame, leading to Briar to want to prove his writing correct.

Despite this, the book would go on to inspire some. Professor Sada and Professor Turo grew up infatuated with the censored book, and in a paradoxical twist, is given the completed manuscript by Florian or Juliana when a version of them from 10 years prior are plucked into Terapagos' fog at the Crystal Pool. This leads to them going into Area Zero to create their "Paradise" with their Time Machines and creating the Paradox Pokémon that did not exist and ends up killing them, and having Turo or Sada meeting Heath in Terapagos' fog and causing him to see the Paradox Pokemon, inspiring him to write the book in the first place. The book is passed down to the Professors' son, Arven, which is given to Florian and Juliana in the past and stops the time machine, thus causing a loop of being given the book, losing the book, and being given back the book over and over again.
