The official Japanese Pokémon PR X account announced on July 20th, 2026, that Natsuki Hanae would be voicing Professor Neroli.

The episode airing Friday, August 21st, 2026 will be a Pokémon anime x Pokémon Sleep collab! Professor Neroli, who researches Pokémon sleep ecology alongside Kabigon, will be played by Natsuki Hanae-san! In this episode, it seems he'll be giving the Rising Volt Tacklers sleep-related advice! Here is a comment from him:

I'm really happy I get to play Professor Neroli, who we all know from Pokémon Sleep, in the anime! He's a fascinating professor, mild-mannered yet passionate, and burning with an extraordinary enthusiasm for researching Pokémon's sleep.
