The group has finally reached Satoshi's home region, Kanto! Satoshi, Iris and Dent... from here on, they will walk separate paths towards their dreams. And when the time to say goodbye comes...

Summary:
Satoshi and friends have boarded a ship bound for the port city of Kuchiba, Kanto. The end of their voyage through the Decolora Archipelago is thus finally coming to an end.

Meanwhile, the Rocket Gang plots to get Pikachu and the other Pokémon before Satoshi and friends arrive in Kanto, some way or another. Thus, they throw the ship into complete chaos as they make it lift up from the sea into the air with giant balloons. As usual, they attempt to steal Satoshi and his friends' Pokémon, but this time even Parker seems to get in our heroes' way. But then, there's suddenly two Parkers...!?

Voice Cast:

This episode is so dumb it hurts.
Absolute denial of physics, logic or any usage of brain at all.
First, Rocket Gang just stops a whole giant ship using a small manually-powered submarine. They even manage to pull the whole ship backwards. What the hell ^ 1 ?

Of course this plan fails (which is the only thing that makes sense here).
So they try it from the air this time... Correction: not from the air but INTO the air. They lift the whole ship up with several giant baloons. A whole large ship with tons of passengers and cargo! What the hell ^ 2 ?

Then they steal Pikachu and other Pokemon from Satoshi and company using some dirty cosplay tricks.
And when Rocket Gang for the first time in recent history has a perfect chance to really escape and succeed in their plan (because they dumped Satoshi into a cargo hole), they decide to steal Pokemon from other passengers as well instead of leaving the scene. Because Pikachu (the main objective of their over-800-episodes-long struggling) and a few other Pokemon as a bonus are definitely not enough. This equals to deliberately waiting for Satoshi and his friends to climb out and blast Rocket Gang to the moon. What the hell ^ 3?

The way in which Satoshi, Dent and Iris get out from the hole is physically impossible and ridiculously dumb. It actually even sends them flying into approximately... well, the exact direction of Rocket Gang's baloon.

One blast-off later:
After cutting the Rocket's baloons, the ship just peacefully descends on the sea again. Just like a feather. The baloons just slowly deflate. What the infinite !@#$%^&z}{a*&^l%$#g@$%o^&???!!! Never mind.

Then we also suddenly see a lot of Kanto Pokemon stuffed in quite a small area. Even those, who are otherwise very hard to find (Slowbro, Lapras). Almost like a zoo. actually, Slowpoke and Slowbro are each stuck on a small island in the middle of nowhere.

And then, the episode suddenly changes for the last 5 minutes. Now it is an important episode where everyone suddenly arrives to Kanto, Iris and Dent decide they would like to travel around Johto and Hoenn (and possibly Kanto as well?), they part with Satoshi, board a train and disappear. Just out of the blue, completely ignoring the fact that until now they have been travelling with Satoshi through the whole 5th generation of the anime. During less than 5 minutes. Why? They could have had the whole episode for that. With this little timeframe given for such an important decision it feels more like them thinking "now we have finally finished this boring trip and we don't need you anymore. Smurf you Satoshi, we are going somewhere else.".
I will miss Iris. I totally won't miss Dent.

My rating:
The first, larger part of this episode is concentrated mindsmurf without any logic at all. Even worse because of the fact that it feels like a dejavu of the worst Pokemon episodes. I think this kind of episode is what makes the Pokemon series sometimes seem so damn lame. And it also makes me lose faith in this whole show. This would get about 3 from me. For keeping at least the animation quality at a normal level. But it completely spoiled one of the most important episodes of the whole BW.
The second part simply suffers from being too short. If it was a full episode, it would probably be something awesome and important. Possibly something between 8 - 10, depending on how it would actually be handled.
So... let's make it a simplified average (ignoring the length of each part) of 5.
You would totally like to be a tree.
