While the video quality for the episode is better for the widescreen episodes compared to the Japanese rental DVD's, but unfortunately the Taiwanese DVD's Letterboxed the widescreen video. It doesn't appear to have any of the noticeable edge enhancing filtering that the rental DVD's have though. Will be interesting to see what the upcoming VIZ English dub DVD's end up doing.
