Pocket Monsters - Summer Special Episodes 2021
The TV animation series Pocket Monsters, which airs every Friday at 6:55 on TV Tokyo, has announced that it will air "Summer Special Episodes" set in the Sinnoh region for two weeks on Friday, July 23rd, 2021 and Friday July 30th, 2021.
In addition, Hikari and her partner Pokémon Pochama, will appear in Pocket Monsters for the first time in nine years since the Pocket Monsters Diamond and Pearl series! A key visual poster featuring Hikari and Pochama and a PV video that foreshadows the story surrounding the phantom Pokémon Darkrai and the legendary Pokémon Crecelia were released today.

On the other hand, when Koharu's family trip for the summer vacation is cancelled, she decides to travel alone to the Sinnoh region with her partner Eievui, as it was the original destination for the trip. Eievui and Koharu are excited to be traveling alone for the first time, and head to Hakutai City, where a Pokémon contest is being held. On the way, Koharu meets Satoshi's former traveling companions, Hikari and Pochama!

In the PV video that was released, we see Darkrai, who activities are guided by something on the night of the new moon, and Crecelia lying wounded in the forest... The adventure of Satoshi and Go, Koharu and Hikari begins featuring these two Pokémon!

Following Iris and Shigeru, Hikari and Pochama from Pocket Monsters Diamond and Pearl will appear in the TV anime Pocket Monsters! It's been about 9 years since I've appeared in the series, so I was nervous about whether I could play Hikari again after such a long time, but during the recording, I had a great time interacting with my partner, Pochama, and felt at ease and happy.

For those of you who are watching the Anipoke from just this series, this will be the first time seeing Hikari, but I hope you will come to love her cheerful sunny personality and her love for Pokémon. Her Pokémon partner, Pochama, is also very cute, so please look forward to the special summer episodes and see what kind of story it will be!
