The official Pokémon website has announced that the month of October 2011 is Legendary month. A sweepstakes has been announced for legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C which began on October 3, 2011 at 10:00am PST and will end on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 9:00 AM PST. Residents of the United States are asked to view the contest page every day for a chance to win awesome Pokémon prizes! 25 winners will be selected each week and a winner selected on November 7 will win one Pokémon Legendary Prize Package!

The grand prize given to one lucky winner on November 7, 2011 includes: A Flame Red Nintendo 3DS system, a copy of the Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version games, a box of Pokémon TCG: Black & White—Emerging Powers expansion booster packs, and much more! The weekly prizes consist of a Pokémon Trading Card Game Reshiram or Zekrom Box.
