Pictures from the July 2014 Corocoro have revealed new information about the upcoming games Pocket Monsters Omega Ruby (ポケットモンスター オメガルビー) and Pocket Monsters Alpha Sapphire (ポケットモンスター アルファサファイア). The issues reveals new Mega Evolutions including: Mega Jukain, Mega Laglarge and Mega Diancie. The new Ancient class of Pokémon was also announced and Ancient Groudon (ゲンシグラードン) and Ancient Kyogre (ゲンシカイオーガ) were revealed. Their change is conducted through a process called Ancient Devolution (ゲンシカイキ). The official English translations were revealed at E3 and are Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre and Primal Reversion


Mega Jukain is a Grass/Dragon type and has the Lightning Rod ability. Mega Laglarge does not change types and has the Swim Swift ability. Daigo also returns as do the previous protagonists with new outfits. A new mega item called the Mega Bangle was also revealed.
