The October 2017 issue of TV-kun (てれびくん 2017年10月号) has revealed that a special Pocket Monsters Sun and Moon anime arc is happening on September 14th, 2017 and September 21st, 2017. During these two episodes, SM 42: An Alola! in Kanto! Takeshi and Kasumi!! (カントーでアローラ！タケシとカスミ！！) and SM 43: Gym Battle! Z-Move VS Mega Evolution!! (ジムバトル！Ｚワザ対メガシンカ！！), Satoshi returns to his hometown in the Kanto Region reuniting with his friends Kasumi and Takeshi.
