Nintendo has announced that they will be holding a Pokémon Sword and Shield midnight launch event at Nintendo New York on November 15th, 2019 from 12:00am to 2:00am EST. People are asked to RSVP to get a pass to attend the event. The store will be selling copies of the games and have a demo booth setup.

Passes will be issued in the form of QR Code® patterns that can be saved to your smart device or printed. The deadline to register for a Warp Pipe Pass for Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield Midnight Launch at the Nintendo NY store is 11:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, 11/14.

Nintendo NYC’s first floor has evolved!

The Nintendo New York City transformed for a few days from November 14th, 2019 to November 17th, 2019 to celebrate the launch of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. They put a tower and a gateway with "Welcome to Galar" near the main entrance.
