The official Pokémon website has announced that specially stamped Pokémon League Rillaboom, Cinderace, and Inteleon cards will be distributed at local events for the next few months while supplies last. Some League Challenge and League Cup in-store competitions are also awarding prizes like playmats.

The first Pokémon League season to feature the Pokémon TCG: Sword & Shield expansion is getting underway. Trainers can attend League events at participating local game stores, giving them the opportunity to meet other Pokémon fans, play the Pokémon TCG, and earn cool promo cards. Pokémon League events are open to players of all levels, so they're a great way to discover the fun of playing in Pokémon tournaments.

With the launch of the Sword & Shield expansion on February 7, 2020, Pokémon League participants can earn great promo cards featuring newly discovered Pokémon from the Galar region. Each month you attend your local League, you can receive a promo card: collect a specially stamped Rillaboom, Cinderace, and Inteleon while supplies last.

You can also look forward to bigger Pokémon tournaments at League locations. League Challenges and League Cups are in-store competitions that award prizes such as promo cards and playmats, as well as Championship Points toward earning an invitation to the Pokémon World Championships!
