Contemporary artists bring out a new Pokémon charm

Meguru Yamaguchi's signature brushstroke art depicts courageous Pokémon in battle. The meticulously calculated brushstrokes and colors create a highly finished fashion item. On the other hand, James Jarvis, who specializes in cartoon-style illustrations, depicted Pokémon in a joyful mood. The simple yet distinctive illustrations bring out the individuality of the Pokémon. UT is perfect for the current season, and the sweatshirt can be enjoyed in autumn and winter. It can be worn by both men and women, from children to adults.

About Meguru Yamaguchi (山口歴)

Image

Born in Tokyo in 1984, he moved to the U.S. in 2007 and currently lives in Brooklyn, NY. He continues to create works in a style that refines the expression of the times using the traditional "brushstroke" technique that exists universally across time and countries. His representative work is the "OUTOF BOUNDS" series, in which "brushstrokes" themselves become three-dimensional works, transcending the prescribed framework of canvas. He has also worked on the "SPLITTING HORIZON" series.
