The Pokémon Company has announced steps they will be taking to reduce scalping of the Pokémon Trading Card Game in Japan through the Pokémon Center Online by restricting resellers future purchases and getting listings removed from Mercari. These steps will take effect just ahead of the launch of the Enhanced Expansion Pack Pokémon Card 151 set which releases in Japan on Friday, June 16th, 2023.

Warning Regarding the Sale of the Enhanced Expansion Pack Pokémon Card 151 on Flea Market Apps

In order to enjoy the Pokémon Card Game, please read the following notice regarding the Enhanced Expansion Pack Pokémon Card 151, which will go on sale on Friday, June 16th, 2023.

We strictly prohibit the purchase of products for resale or other commercial purposes. If we determine that you have violated the Terms of Service or have purchased items for the purpose of resale, we will cancel your order and restrict your future use of the Pokémon Center Online.

Immediately after a product goes on sale, the listing price on marketplaces such as Mercari may skyrocket due to the actions of scalpers. Customers who are considering purchasing the product are requested to act calmly after the release of the product by double checking the MSRP and product details.

In addition, as announced today, we will starting a made-to-order production system so that we can reliably deliver products to customers wishing to purchase them.

Please be aware of the following when using flea market apps, etc., in addition to this product.
- Counterfeit or imitation products have been confirmed to be listed.
- Original packs (Oripa), which are sold by sellers who make their own packs with the marketing that they have a "high probability of SR", may actually contain a low probability of these cards, or may not contain cards of that rarity at all.
- Scavanged packs and boxes, where the SR, SAR, and holo cards have been removed and the remains are sold, have been confirmed to be on sale.

We will continue to take measures to create a safe and secure trading environment through cooperation with major flea market app providers such as Mercari.

商品の発売直後、メルカリなどのフリマアプリにおける出品価格が、一部の出品者・購入者の行動により一時的に急騰する可能性があります。 購入をご検討中のお客さまにおかれましては、商品の希望小売価格や内容を今一度ご確認いただくなど、発売後は冷静な行動をお取りいただきますようお願いいたします。

なお、本日お知らせの通り、商品をお求めのお客様に確実にお届けできるよう、受注生産を実施いたします。

-「偽造品・模倣品」の出品が確認されています。
-「SR高確率封入」などの表現で出品者が独自にカードをランダム封入し販売する「オリパ（オリジナルパック）」は、該当のカードが実際には低確率で封入されている、もしくは封入されていない可能性がございます。
-いわゆるサーチ等の行為によりSR、SAR等のキラカードが封入された拡張パックのみを抜き取って、残りのパックを販売する、「サーチ済みパック・ボックス」の出品が確認されています。

なお、弊社はメルカリ等主要なフリマアプリの提供会社との取り組みを通じて、安心安全な取引環境の構築に向けて対策を講じて参ります。
