North winds and freshly purified water have been reported on parts of Greengrass Isle! Follow-up research in the area revealed bits of Suicune Mane that Suicune left behind. According to Professor Neroli, he’ll be able to conduct research into Suicune’s sleep habits if you collect lots of Suicune Mane samples during your sleep research. You can trade these Suicune Mane samples via the Event Exchange for new items—Suicune Incense and Suicune Biscuits—to help you see Suicune’s sleep styles!

Details Suicune Mane

• You can exchange samples of Suicune Mane for other items at the Event Exchange.
• You can check to see how many samples you have at the Event Exchange (the samples won’t go into your bag’s items pocket).
• You can obtain samples only during the event.
• After the event ends, you can still trade samples of Suicune Mane until the Event Exchange closes. Once the exchange period ends, any remaining samples of Suicune Mane will be lost.

How to Get Samples of Suicune Mane

■ Sleep Research in the Event Areas
• This is the main way to get Suicune Mane samples. You can get them during one sleep research session per day.
Note: You cannot get any during the second sleep research of the day.
• The number of Suicune Mane samples you can get depends on the species of Pokémon and the sleep styles you find them in.
• Water-type Pokémon you research will give you a greater number of samples of Suicune Mane.

■ Limited-Time Missions
• You can get samples of Suicune Mane by completing limited-time missions.

■ Suicune Research Bundles Vol. 1 and Suicune Last Chance Bundles Vol. 1

■ Research Community
• In rare cases, you can get samples of Suicune Mane from other researchers in your research community who are participating in the same event.
• The higher your closeness with a researcher, the more likely you are to receive samples of Suicune Mane from them through the research community.
• The number of Suicune Mane samples you can get from one friend will be less compared to the amount from the earlier Entei Research event. However, we plan to boost the likelihood of getting samples from researchers.
• The following Limited-Time Special Gift will be distributed only to those who do not have the Research Community button on their Main Menu.
Note: Researchers who do have the Research Community button on their Main Menu are not eligible for this gift.

Limited-Time Special Gift
• You will receive 70 samples of Suicune Mane at the beginning of the first week (2024/09/01 23:00) and again at the beginning of the second week (2024/09/08 23:00)!
Notes: This applies to players who logged in before 2024/09/17 23:00.
If your gift has not yet arrived, please restart the app and then check your Gift Box.

Suicune Incense

• If you set this on the stump labeled “Incense” next to your tent on the home screen before you begin sleep tracking, you will for sure be able to meet Suicune during your next sleep research.
• You can have up to one in your bag’s items pocket at a time.
Note: Incense you have set still counts as being inside your bag’s items pocket until it’s consumed during sleep research.
It can be used starting from the time Suicune begins appearing: Monday, September 2, at 3:00 p.m.
It can also be used after the event has ended.

Suicune Biscuits

• These can be used during sleep research within the event period and only with Suicune.
• One Suicune Biscuit increases Suicune’s friendship points by 6.
• After the Event Exchange closes, any Suicune Biscuits you have will be automatically converted into Great Biscuits.

Event Exchange

You can exchange samples of Suicune Mane for the following items.
• Suicune Incense
• Suicune Biscuit
• Main Skill Seed
• Water Stone
And more!

• Also, a few Suicune Incense and Suicune Biscuits will be added at a slightly lower exchange rate during the second week of the event. Keep an eye out for these during the last stretch of the event!

Important Notes

• Each day of the Suicune Research event rolls over at 4:00 a.m.
• Event bonuses apply only to sleep data tracked in the event areas.
• After the event ends, Suicune may still appear during sleep research conducted on Greengrass Isle, at Cyan Beach, or on Lapis Lakeside—but extremely rarely.
• Suicune Incense can still be used after the event has ended.
• Because Suicune is a Special Pokémon, you can have only one Suicune on your team.
• It’s possible to befriend more than one Special Pokémon, but you cannot have more than one Special Pokémon on the same team.
• For each species of Special Pokémon, the Nature and sub skills will be identical for the first one befriended by each researcher.
• Event bonuses apply only to sleep tracking that begins within the event period.
• If you wait to report sleep data tracked before the event begins and select “Review Later” during the event, event bonuses will not be applied.
• If you wait to report sleep data tracked during the event and select “Review Later” after the event has ended, event bonuses will be applied.
• Event bonuses do not apply to sleep tracking during the tutorial.
• The bonus that raises Water-type helper Pokémon’s main skill levels will not raise them beyond max level. The value of the main skill displayed on the Pokémon details screen is the value before the bonus effects apply. Also, for Pokémon that were already on your team before the event started, the first time their main skill triggers during the event, in some cases, may not include the bonus effect.
• The second and third kinds of Snorlax’s favorite Berries in the event areas other than Greengrass Isle are chosen at random, just like on Greengrass Isle.
