More details about the Pokémon Center Tohoku relocation were announced on February 7th, 2025. It was revealed that the Pokémon Center Tohoku will reopen on Friday, March 14th, 2025 on the 3rd floor of Sendai PARCO's main building! The new interior of the store is designed to evoke the vibrancy of festivals that take place in the Tohoku region.


At the entrance, Pikachu and the Mythical Pokémon Victini will be welcoming you with a smile! Let's make a V sign together!


As you walk through the store, you'll come across the Legendary Pokémon, Ogrepon! We look forward to seeing you all here and come to play.


In addition, various Pokémon are enjoying the festivals in the store. Let's enjoy the festive atmosphere with the Pokémon at the Pokémon Center Touhoku!


You'll also find information on Pokémon games, apps, and much more!


In addition, a Pokémon Card Station, where you can play Pokémon Card Games easily and comfortably, will also be available. Let's play the Pokémon Card Game at various events!


The Pokémon Center Tohoku Garden will be opening in the plaza in front of the main entrance on the second floor of the Sendai PARCO's main building! The garden is surrounded by greenery, including a Pikachu topiary, and is filled with many Pokémon, so be sure to check it out when you come to the Pokémon Center Tohoku.

Merchandise commemorating the reopening will be available!

On Friday, March 14th, 2025 merchandise will be available to commemorate the reopening of the Pokémon Center Tohoku!


There will be lots of items unique to the Pokémon Center Tohoku, including goods that depict Pokémon enjoying the festivals, as well as a mascot plushies of Pikachu high-fiving the Mythical Pokémon Victini.


There are also Pikachu plushies dressed up in costumes inspired by festivals of the Tohoku region!


The designs are based on the six festivals that represent the Tohoku region: the Aomori Nebuta Festival, the Akita Kanto Festival, the Morioka Sansa Dance Festival, the Yamagata Hanagasa Festival, the Sendai Tanabata Festival, and the Fukushima Waraji Festival.


In addition, jinbei will also be available so you can enjoy the festival with the Pokémon! Head out to the festival with the drawstring bags and tote bags that will also be on sale!

The items will be on sale at the pre-opening preview on Thursday, March 13th, 2025 and on the Pokémon Center Online on Friday, March 14th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. JST. They will not be available on the Amazon.co.jp's Pokémon Store.

Pre-opening Preview and Advance Lottery Information

A pre-opening preview will be held on Thursday, March 13th, 2025 the day before the reopening! You can look around the new store, shop for merchandise commemorating the reopening, and enjoy the new Pokémon Center Tohoku before anyone else. 120 pairs of people will be invited to the pre-opening preview by lottery! Applications are being accepted through Staff Voice, so be sure to check it out.

Original Shopping Bag Campaign!

From Thursday, March 13th, 2025 to Sunday, April 6th, 2025, to celebrate the reopening, customers who spend over 6,000 yen (including tax) at the Pokémon Center Tohoku will receive an original shopping bag! Take home the shopping bag featuring Pikachu and the Mythical Pokémon Victini, which appear in the new Pokémon Center Tohoku logo, as a memento of your shopping!

Pikachu is coming to celebrate!

Pikachu in special costumes are coming to celebrate at the newly renovated Pokémon Center Tohoku! The schedule for their appearance will be announced in the future, so look forward to it!
