An internal GameStop memo has announced that Pokémon TCG products will no longer be available for pre-order in-store or online. They will now be sold on a first-come, served basis to encourage more foot traffic in their stores. It has also been revealed that GameStop is looking to sell its GameStop Canadian and Micromania France locations and GameStop CEO Ryan Cohen
revealed the reason for doing so was due to "high taxes, Liberalism, Socialism, Progressivism, Wokeness and DEI".

Moving forward, all future Pokémon TCG products will be shipped directly to stores to encourage more foot traffic. We encourage yon to use this opportunity to engage your community through in store events and introduce then to our services.
• TCG SKUs that have purchase limits will now have their limit within their POS description when searching the SKU. Remember that this is per GameStop account.
