Catch a Tyranitar with the Mightiest Mark! Tyranitar will be appearing at black Tera Raid crystals from Friday, March 28, 2025, at 00:00 UTC to Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 23:59 UTC, then again from Friday, April 4, 2025, at 00:00 UTC to Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 23:59 UTC.

The Tyranitar appearing during this event has Ghost as its Tera Type. Be prepared—this Pokémon is a formidable foe, and it’s got the Mightiest Mark to prove it! Work together with your friends to topple this powerful Tera Pokémon!

During the latter half of this event—from Friday, April 4, 2025, at 00:00 UTC to Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 23:59 UTC—Blissey will be appearing more frequently in 5-star Tera Raid Battles. These Blissey will have various Tera Types, so prepare wisely before challenging them! Defeating Blissey will yield some delightful rewards, such as various Tera Shards and bonus Exp. Candies.

This special Tyranitar can be caught only once per save data. If you caught this Tyranitar previously during a Tera Raid Battle event, you cannot catch it again. You can still participate in Tera Raid Battles against this Tyranitar to obtain other rewards if you’ve already caught it. This Tyranitar may be featured in future events or become obtainable through other methods.

In a Tera Raid Battle, you’ll work together with three other Trainers to defeat a powerful Tera Pokémon before time runs out. The kinds of Pokémon encountered during Tera Raid Battle events will vary. Pokémon encountered in Tera Raid Battles may have a rare Tera Type. Information about Tera Raid Battle Events

• To participate in Tera Raid Battle events, please download the latest Poké Portal News by selecting Poké Portal from the X menu, then Mystery Gift, then Check Poké Portal News.
• After completing certain postgame events, you’ll be able to find black Tera Raid crystals. However, players who haven’t completed these events may still participate in these Tera Raid Battles by joining other Trainers in multiplayer.
• You’ll be able to find 5-star Tera Raid Battles after completing Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet’s main story. If you haven’t completed the main story, you may still participate in these Tera Raid Battles by joining other Trainers in multiplayer.
• A Nintendo Switch Online membership (sold separately) and Nintendo Account are required to participate in Tera Raid Battles with other Trainers online. Membership auto-renews after initial term at the then-current price unless canceled. Not available in all countries. Internet access required for online features. Terms apply.
• Tera Raid Battle events will occur only in the Paldea region.
