Nov. 24, 2025 — Trainers can kick off the holiday season with Pokémon by catching Pikachu and Eevee as they ride a Poké Ball-inspired sled at the 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade® on Nov. 27, 2025, in New York City. The Pokémon Company International returns for its 25th consecutive year as the beloved Pokémon balloon makes its way along the parade route culminating at Macy’s Herald Square.

Pikachu and Eevee Soar Through the City in the 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade®

These two adorable Pokémon will sled through the Manhattan skies in this celebration to kick off the holiday season.

Pikachu and Eevee are back to kick off the holidays as the Pokémon balloon soars through the skies during the prestigious 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade ®. This year marks Pokémon’s 25th consecutive year participating in the parade. Pikachu and Eevee both look ready to have so much fun in their Poké Ball-inspired sled!

The 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air nationwide in the US on NBC and Peacock on November 27, 2025, beginning at 8:30 a.m. in all time zones. If you happen to be in New York City on Thanksgiving, you can see Pikachu and Eevee—along with the rest of the parade, of course—in person.
