Future Updates
We’d like to share our plans for long-term updates designed to ensure that more players can enjoy the game for years to come. Around late January 2027, we’re planning a major update primarily aimed at making the game easier to play for new players, which includes revisions to existing content and the introduction of new content.
Ahead of these future updates, we’re going to revamp the Battle Point system in late September 2026, and discontinue the Main Story (Hard) and Battle Villa features at the same time.
The revamp to the Battle Point system will add more opportunities for you to team up with new Sync Pairs without using the Scout. We’re designing this feature to make the game more enjoyable for new players, as well as for those who enjoy collecting Sync Pairs.
Also, while many initially enjoyed the Main Story (Hard) and Battle Villa features, we recognize that players now prefer newer content. For this reason, we have decided to discontinue them as part of our ongoing content revisions. We plan to continue working on various updates in the future as well.
About Revamping the Battle Point System
We plan to revamp the Battle Point system around late September. Up until now, you could collect the same rewards multiple times, starting over from the beginning once you reached the end. In this revamp, we will be changing it to a monthly system. In other words, the Battle Points you earn will reset each month.
In addition, the main reward of each month will be a new Sync Pair you can team up with. We’re also designing this so that you can still obtain BP Sync Pair Vouchers and Move Candy Coins, which you’ve been able to get as Battle Point rewards up to now.
Also, if you happen to miss the featured Sync Pair in the month they appear, we plan to have them return in the future. Of course, this content will be available to all players like it has been up to now, so we hope you’ll look forward to it.
Please note that the Battle Points you’ve obtained before the revamp will be reset in accordance with this update. We’re planning to announce more details about a month before the revamp.
What to Expect in the Next Message
Our next message is scheduled for late July. In it, we plan to share information about new Sync Pairs and events for August. We’re always working hard to deliver updates and improvements that make the world of Pokémon Masters EX as fun as possible. Until next time, thank you for playing Pokémon Masters EX.
