The finalized box art for the Pokémon Card Game Sun and Moon 30-Card Battle Deck Set Satoshi VS Rocket Gang (ポケモンカードゲーム サン&ムーン 30枚デッキ対戦セット 「サトシVSロケット団」) has been revealed. The Pocket Monsters Sun and Moon anime tie-in TCG set features the artwork of: Satoshi, Pikachu, Nyarth, Musashi, Kojiro, Sonansu, Kapu-Kokeko, Māmane's Togedemaru, Kiteruguma, Musashi's Mimikkyu and Satoshi's Mokuroh on the box's cover.

The set will be released in Japan on April 21st, 2017 for the suggested retail price of 1,782 yen. It will include a Satoshi's Pikachu GX card, a Rocket Gang Mimikkyu GX card and a Rotom Dex coin.

The special pre-order ticket that comes with a "Satoshi's Pikachu" serial code will be on sale Saturday April 15th 2017 to Friday July 14th 2017



If you purchase a special pre-order ticket that comes with a "Satoshi's Pikachu" serial code, we'll give you "Satoshi's Pikachu", which can use the exclusive Z-Move "10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt"!

With the special Z-Crystal "SatoPika-Z", which we'll give you at the same time, you'll be able to use the Satoshi's Pikachu-exclusive Z-move "10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt"!

There are 6 Pikachu in total, which you choose between based on the period you receive it!

Since this is the 20th anniversary of the anime and the 20th movie, these Pikachu wear the hats Satoshi has worn in the anime series so far.
*Take particular note of the fact that there are some days there will not be any distribution.

If you enter the serial code printed on the front of the special pre-order ticket using a system in the Nintendo 3DS series that's connected to the Internet, you'll receive "Satoshi's Pikachu" and the "SatoPika-Z"!!

The "serial code" is written on the special pre-order tickets w/ "Satoshi's Pikachu" serial codes!
Scratch the silver portion of the ticket with a 10-yen coin or similar object. A 16-character alphanumeric code will appear. Make sure not to tear your ticket!

*In order to use the serial code, you must connect your Nintendo 3DS series system to the Internet.

*Once you have used the serial code once, you can not use it again.
*The "Satoshi's Pikachu" and "SatoPika-Z" you receive are video game data. They are not plushies or figures.

Things to note:
*You can only receive one Pikachu per serial code.
*If you have multiple special preorder tickets, you can receive as many "Satoshi's Pikachu" in one game as you have serial codes.
However, you can not receive more than one of the "SatoPika-Z" that gets give out alongside it per game.
If you receive a second Pikachu in the same game, you will not receive the second "SatoPika-Z", and it will be discarded.
*A Pokémon can not be traded while holding the "SatoPika-Z".
If you have multiple special preorder tickets and multiple games, make sure to receive the giveaway in the game you wish to have it in.

The exclusive Z-Move "10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt"!

The fact that the "Satoshi's Pikachu" we're giving out all look different isn't all that's special about them, they can also use the exclusive Z-Move "10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt". "10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt" is a special Z-Move that can be used by "Satoshi's Pikachu" that know Thunderbolt if they hold the "SatoPika-Z" they get distributed alongside.



"10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt" is used by sending Z-Power to "Satoshi's Pikachu", and makes the user gather lightning from a thundercloud before attaking the opponent by firing a 7-colored electric shock from its body. This is a very powerful Z-Move that's not only extremely strong, but that also has the additional effect of easily doing a critical hit. Make sure to receive "Satoshi's Pikachu" and the "SatoPika-Z" and give it a try.

The official Japanese Pokémon website has announced the Kapu-Kokeko Campaign (カプ・コケコキャンペーン) will be held starting on March 17th, 2017 in Japan. Kapu-Kokeko related products and promo presents will be available throughout the campaign. Kapu-Kokeko is a Pokémon that appears in the Nintendo 3DS games Pocket Monsters Sun and Moon as well as the TV anime series. It is known as the Guardian deity of Melemele Island.

Alternate-Colored Kapu-Kokeko Event Pokémon Distribution

From March 17th, 2017 until April 9th, 2017, players of Pocket Monsters Sun and Moon will be able to obtain a serial code to get an Alternate-Colored Kapu-Kokeko. Kapu-Kokeko normally has a yellow appearance but this special Black Alternate-Colored Kapu-Kokeko cannot be obtained in regular gameplay. The serial code can be used from March 17th, 2017 until May 31st, 2017.

How to Obtain the Serial Code for Kapu-Kokeko

If a player purchases a copy of Pocket Monsters Sun and Moon or shows the title screen on their Nintendo 3DS at a participating shop, they will receive a paper with a serial code written on it. The following shops are offering the serial code at participating locations: Apita·Piago, Aeon·Aeon Supercenter·Aeon Style·Aeon retail stores, Ito Yokado, EDION, GEO, Joshin Denki, TSUTAYA, Toys R Us, Nojima, Bic Camera, Fuji, Tay Two, Heiwado, Yamada Denki, Yodobashi Camera , WonderGOO, Pokémon Centers·Pokémon Stores, Amazon.co.jp, Rakuten Books and some 7-Eleven.

Players can also obtain the code digitally from a Nintendo Zone via the 7-Eleven DS via 7-Spot. Those wishing to obtain the code from 7-Eleven must bring their Nintendo 3DS to a participating DS via 7-Spot and obtain the code through the app by opening the campaign page and then touching the "Get the Serial code (シリアルコードをゲット!)" button. Write down the serial code on a piece of paper before proceeding to a different screen.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the TV anime broadcast of Pocket Monsters, a special Limited Edition S. H. Figuarts Satoshi and Rocket Gang set will be available for purchase in Japan. The set costs 14,040 yen (tax included) and pre-orders start on March 1st, 2017 with the set shipping to customers sometime in July 2017. The set features moveable figures of: Satoshi, Pikachu, Nyarth, Musashi and Kojiro. The figures have parts and accessories that allow people to recreate iconic scenes from the original Pocket Monsters anime series. The figures are made of ABS and PVC. High resolution pictures of this set are available on our Imageboard thread.
