Fukurow note, a singer-songwriter, has announced that their new song Your Back will be a tie-in song for an episode of the new series of POKÉTOON. The song will be released on Thursday, October 10th, 2024.

POKÉTOON is a series of short animated films that focus on a single Pokémon for each episode, bringing out the best of the Pokémon's charms while telling an original story while using a variety of unique art styles. Starting with Zuruggu and Mimikkyu in 2020, the eight previously released episodes on YouTube have been viewed more than 82 million times around the world (as of September 4th, 2024).

In addition to the four horizontal animations, four vertical animations that can be easily enjoyed on a phone are scheduled to be shown as part of the latest series. They will be released on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.


The music video for Fukurow note new song Your Back will be released on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024 at 18:00 JST.

POKÉTOON Website

POKÉTOON opened a special website at the same time as the release of the latest episode. A key visual was also unveiled as well. On the special site, Pawmo Pawmot Parmot! was posted, and new episodes will be added every Wednesday from now on.

In addition to Pawmo Pawmot Parmot!, the key visuals are lively depictions of cool and cute Pokémon, and it will be interesting to see how they will be incorporated in future releases.

Also, as a new initiative, music tie-ins will be the ending songs of the four horizontal episodes. There will be collaborations with unique artists such as Fukurow note, Taiyu Fujiwara, LustQueen, Yuina, and RUI・TAIKI・KANON. Each song will be a completely original song written by each artist specifically for the anime. It will be a surprise to find out which artist will be in charge of which episode. Taiyu Fujiwara's song Lucky Dance will be available for download from midnight on September 19th, 2024.

The Pokémon Music Collective is a music project where artists from various genres create and release songs based on sounds from Pokémon game series. ENHYPEN released One and Only in July of 2023 as the second part of the project, and now they have released One and Only (PIKA PIKA Remix) and released a music video to go along with it. Details of this release has been added to our Media database.

The remix version uses more of the familiar game sounds from the Pokémon game series than the original version. Anyone who has played the games will feel nostalgic.

ENHYPEN performed with Pikachu on their world tours ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR 'FATE' and ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR 'FATE PLUS'. The music video features cute interactions with Pikachu from the tour.

Pokémon the Orchestra is returning for 2024, and this time the concert is showcasing the music from Pokémon Scarlet & Violet and The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero. Performances will be held on Saturday, September 21st, 2024 at 5:30pm and Sunday, September 22nd, 2024 at 3:00 at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Seoul, South Korea. The Pokémon Company held a press conference on April 30th, 2024 and announced that Pokémon Horizons: The Series would start airing on May 25th, 2024 on Hungama. The Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs will be getting their own opening and ending tracks composed by the music duo Vishal-Sheykhar and sung by Armaan Malik and Shirley Setia. This will be the first time they get their own theme song as these dubs had always used the English dub theme.

Susumu Fukunaga, The Pokémon Company stated: "The new series comes with a brand-new storyline, new Pokémon and human characters, so there is a lot to look forward to. You will enjoy a fascinating adventure on an airship and see how secrets unfold due to the mysterious objects the main characters possess. This has been a challenging and interesting journey as we wanted to ensure that the music and lyrics align with Indian sensibilities. I think the songs capture the essence of Pokémon very nicely. It was announced on March 29th, 2024, that the utaite 9Lana, who primarily operates on TikTok and Youtube, will be making her major debut with Sony Music. Her debut song "Let me battle" is going to be used as the new ending theme for the TV Tokyo Network anime Pocket Monsters (airs every Friday at 6:55pm), and will be produced by Giga & TeddyLoid.

This highly surprising choice has a chameleon voice, being able to speak and sing in 9 entirely different ways, and is known for an expressiveness that almost makes you think the protagonist in the lyrics has taken possession of her. Her growling voice is particularly well regarded. Since the end of last year, she released 3 original songs in rapid succession; "Migi pocket", "Balalaika" and "Game", and was enjoying a steady increase in listeners as she announced her major debut.


"Let me battle", which is going to be the ending theme for the Pocket Monsters anime, was written by Giga & TeddyLoid, who have multiple hit songs on their resume. The lyrics are by TOPHAMHAT-KYO from FAKE TYPE. The song will premiere on April 12th, when the new chapter "Terastal Debut" begins, and will be available digitally on the 19th.


9Lana commented that it's such an honor both to do the ending theme for the Pocket Monsters anime, as well as to get to sing a song written by people she looks up to as much as Giga-san, TeddyLoid-san and TOPHAMHAT-KYO-san, that she still almost thinks this is just a dream.

The NHK Symphony Orchestra String Quintet Pokémon Mini Concerts in Sanuki City, Kagawa Prefecture (N響メンバーによる弦楽四重奏 ポケモンミニコンサート in 香川県さぬき市) are being promoted by the Pokémon Daisuki Club and will take place on January 28th, 2024. The performance will be streamed live on the official Pokémon Kids TV YouTube channel.


This time Galar Yadon and Yadon will be there as well as orchestra members: Masahiro Morita (森田昌弘) on violin, Masamichi Yokoshima (横島礼理) on violin, Ryo Sasaki (佐々木亮) on viola and Shunsuke Yamanouchi (山内俊輔) on cello.

Venue: Gennai Music Hall, Sanuki City, Kagawa Prefecture (源内音楽ホール 香川県さぬき市鴨庄4610-44)
