The official Twitter account for the Pokémon Trading Card Game announced on June 24th, 2024 that they were aware that some entrants of the Pokémon Trading Card Game Illustration Contest 2024 had violated the rules and were using AI to create their drawings. The entrants have been disqualified and new artists will take their place in the top 300.

We are aware that select entrants from the top 300 finalists of the Pokémon Trading Card Game Illustration Contest 2024 have violated the offical contest rules. As a result, entrants in violation of the rules have been disqualified from the contest.

Furthermore, additional artists participating in the contest will soon be selected to be among the top 300 finalists.

We're committed to upholding the integrity of the Pokémon Trading Card Game Illustration Contest and appreciate fans' continued support as we celebrate the artistic abilities of the talented Pokémon community.

The 2024 Pokémon Beijing Masters (2024宝可梦北京大师赛) will be held at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Pavilion) W1 Hall and W2 Hall from July 13 to 14th, 2024. The advance registration end on June 25th, 2024. Various 2024 Pokémon Beijing Masters branded TCG merchandise will be available to obtain at the event.

Participating in some of the off-site activities or the Carnival will give patrons a chance to get Beijing Masters points, which can be exchanged for souvenir gifts. Beijing Masters Points can only be used at the event. Points can be exchanged for gifts while supplies last.

The Special Set Pokémon Horizons: The Series (特別卡組 寶可夢地平線：系列) was revealed on June 19th, 2024 to promote the airing of the series airing in Hong Kong and the release of the TCG set Stellar Miracle (星晶奇跡). The special Horizons set and Stellar Miracle will be released in Taiwan and Hong Kong on August 2nd, 2024 and the special set costs NT$490 and HK$120.


The Special Set includes:

• 1 Jumbo Promo Card Terapagos and Friends (太樂巴戈斯與夥伴們)
• 1 Promo Card Sprigatito (新葉喵)

BELLEVUE, Wash. — June 10, 2024 — The Pokémon Company International revealed new details Sunday about the 2024 Pokémon World Championships taking place August 16 to 18 at the Hawaiʻi Convention Center in Honolulu. Pokémon fans who attended the 2024 Pokémon North America International Championships in New Orleans over the weekend, and those who tuned in to the official Pokémon livestream of the event, witnessed the unveiling of the Worlds-exclusive Pikachu plush and Paradise Resort promo card. Both items will be included in the Welcome Kit for qualified Worlds competitors, while the Pikachu plush will be available only at the Pokémon Center pop-up store at the 2024 Pokémon World Championships.

The 2024 Pokémon NAIC gathered thousands of skilled Pokémon Trainers as they battled it out in the Pokémon Trading Card Game, the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games, and the Pokémon GO and Pokémon UNITE mobile games to qualify for the 2024 Pokémon World Championships. During PokéDoko 113, it was announced that the Pokénds and Pokéssu Festival (ポケだちとポケっす祭り) will be held at various locations from Sunday, July 14th, 2024 to Sunday, August 25th, 2024. This event will bring together experiences from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the Pokémon Trading Game, and Pokémon FRIENDA! Participation is free, and on July 14th, 2024 and August 25th, 2024, attendees will have a chance to meet the PokéDoko members! More details will be announced at a later date, so look forward to it!
