If you’re attending the Pokémon Europe International Championships and want to learn more about the Pokémon Trading Card Game, visit Play Lab! Designed for beginners and casual players, Play Lab will offer four modular experiences: Poké Catch, Catch & Attack, 30-Card Demo Deck Battle, and Pokémon TCG Live Demo. These experiences range in duration and play level to suit all kinds of Trainers. And if you’re looking to learn more about Pokémon video games, stop by Battle Lab. There you can learn the Pokémon fundamentals as well as test your battling skills.
Play Lab participants will have a chance to go home with a 30-card demo deck and a pin while supplies last. Battle Lab participants will also receive a reward (to be determined).
Side Events
Side events and spectator activities will be available for all attendees. An official 2025 EUIC event badge is required to participate in side events. Give it your best and you may just go home with a cool memento from the 2025 Europe International Championships.
If you’re ready to go all in on one type in the Pokémon TCG, Gym Leader Challenge is the event for you! Trainers can only include one Pokémon type in their decks; Pokémon with a Rule Box (Pokémon ex, Pokémon V, etc.) are banned; and players are limited to a single copy of each card name that’s included.
Looking to play Pokémon GO around the venue and show off your sweet catches? Pokémon GO scavenger hunts are a staple at live events and a fun way to collect prize wall tickets as you search for Pokémon that usually appear at Regional Championships and International Championships. It’s a great opportunity to catch some Carbink as well as other Pokémon that appear in competitive play!
And of course, there’s the Pokémon Video Game Championships (VGC) and Pokémon UNITE. Turn things topsy-turvy in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet with the Malamar Cup as you compete in VGC matches with your Nintendo Switch system held upside down. Gather with four other Trainers on Aeos Island in Pokémon UNITE’s Eevee Cup, where every player is only able to draft from Pokémon that evolve from Eevee.

The Pokémon Company is celebrating Oddish today and it has appeared in all aspects of the franchise recently. Below are some of the things being promoted about Oddish.
Find out how this little Grass and Poison-type Pokémon has had a huge impact on Pokémon history for over 25 years.
The happy and humble Oddish has been fan-favorite Pokémon since players first stepped into the Pokémon world. It has the distinction of being one of the first version-exclusive Pokémon, catchable only in Pokémon Red. Trainers exploring Kanto in Pokémon Blue would have to trade for the Grass- and Poison-type Pokémon if they wanted it.
Oddish’s legacy goes well beyond the video games, with it and its evolved forms making important appearances in the Pokémon TCG, animation, and much more. So, let's celebrate Oddish with the video “An Oddish Tale” and in many other fun ways as we Discover Pokémon Together.
Path to the Peak: Ava and Oddish
The recently released limited series Path to the Peak showcases Ava’s inspiring discovery of the fun of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Joined by her partner, Oddish, she tests her skills and pushes her talents to see how great of a player she can be. All four episodes of Path to the Peak are now on Pokémon TV and the official Pokémon YouTube channel. Catch Oddish and Ava in action today.
The Path to the Peak fun isn’t done—players can get a special Pokémon TCG promo card featuring the Oddish from the series. Stay tuned for information on how to get this special card. Plus, look for Oddish in the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet—151 expansion, which features every Pokémon from the original Kanto Pokédex.
Pokémon GO: Oddish Research Day
Trainers might even find an Oddish in their own backyard—Oddish has appeared in Pokémon GO since 2016, and it’s still making its mark. Look for a special Research Day on September 17, where Oddish will appear more frequently, and players can earn in-game bonuses and rewards.
Twitch Marathon: Oddish
With such a long history it’s little surprise that Oddish has made a number of appearances in Pokémon animation. To celebrate its exciting roles, be sure to catch a special marathon featuring Oddish on Twitch. The marathon will take place on September 7 on the Twitch.tv/Pokemon.
