During the April 21st, 2012 Nintendo Direct broadcast, Nintendo President
Satoru Iwata (岩田 聡) announced
Pokémon AR Searcher (ポケモンARサーチャー) and
Pokémon National Zukan Pro (ポケモン全国図鑑Pro) for the Nintendo 3DS.
Pokémon National Zukan Pro (ポケモン全国図鑑Pro) is an updated version of
Pokémon 3D Zukan BW (ポケモン立体図鑑BW). The update will be released in Japan on
July 14th, 2012 for 1500 yen. Black Kyurem & White Kyurem will also be featured in the updated version.
Pokémon AR Searcher (ポケモンARサーチャー) is a completely new application that will be available on the Japanese Nintendo 3DS eShop on
June 23rd, 2012 for 300 yen. The application is an Augmented Reality game that utilizes the 3DS's camera to allow users to find Pokémon in their surroundings. The captured Pokémon can then be transferred to the new games
Pokémon Black 2 and White 2.
