The Pokémon Global Link has announced a special distribution for Japanese players of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Those who participate in the "Summer Vacation Mission! 2012 Pokemon Sports League" online battle tournament that will be held by the Pokémon Daisuki Club
until September 2nd, 2012 will be able to obtain a code that will give them access to a special Pikachu with its hidden ability and a special move. The event distribution will take place
from September 19th, 2012 until January 31st, 2013. Players of
Pokémon Black and White cannot participate in this tournament.

The Beginning Cup tournament and a new C-Gear skin
Another WiFi tournament for the Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 games was also announced on the the Pokémon Global Link website, called The Beginning Cup. This tournament will be held
from August 24th until August 26th. People who want to participate must be registered to the Pokémon Daisuki Club and Pokémon Global Link sites and can sign up for the tournament
from August 20th to August 23rd. The registration will operate on a first-come-first-serve basis. There are three age brackets,
Juniors (for those born after 2001),
Seniors (for those born from 1997 to 2000) and
Masters (for those born before 1996). The Beginning Cup is a Double Battle tournament and the eligible Pokémon include all the Pokémon from the new Isshu dex in the Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 games with the exception of Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta and Genesect.
To commemorate the new WiFi tournament that will be held, a new C-Gear skin will be distributed to all Japanese players of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. The design is inspired by the place where the Pokémon World Championships 2012 will be held, Hawaii. It will be available
from August 20th until September 25th.

Manaphy Doll
Following from the distribution of the Reshiram and Zekrom dolls in July, the Pokémon Global Link website has updated with the information on the Dream World doll that will be given out to Japanese players for the month of August. The password that will be included in the August "issue" of the Pokémon Daisuki e-mail magazine will contain a password that will give players access to a special
Manaphy doll. In order to receive this doll that will be distributed starting August 17th, players will need to have subscribed to the e-mail magazine no later than August 14th.
