DeNA has announced that a new version of Pokémon Masters is available bring it up to version 1.8.0.

A new version of the app has been released today. Please update your app to the latest version.

Update Details
- Added a feature to some co-op battles that allows a single player to form a team of nine sync pairs on their own.
- Made improvements to make it easier to identify which sync pairs are on a team while viewing the Edit Team screen.
- Added new emotes for use in co-op battles.
- Improved the display and behavior of the increase text speed button.
- Adjustments have been made to the trigger conditions and names of select passive skills.
- Other minor bug fixes and improvements have been implemented.

Passive Skills - Update Coming Soon
Adjustments will be made to the trigger conditions and names of select passive skills in the upcoming Ver. 1.8.0 update. A separate notice regarding the timing of the Ver. 1.8.0 update will be released following the official announcement.
Changes to Trigger Conditions
Certain passive skills that used to be triggered only when a Pokémon’s move was successful will now be triggered when the move is unsuccessful as well.

Attempt Co-op Battles Solo!
Co-op battles can now be played on your own! Some co-op battles can now be attempted in single-player! Take this opportunity to give co-op battles a try! Note: Changes will be reflected after updating to Ver. 1.8.0 or higher. The exact time the update becomes available may differ for each player. Please try again later if the update is not applied.
Available Co-op Battles
All co-op battles, excluding EX Challenges and tutorials. Note: Does not include event co-op battles that are currently under way. Single-player will be available starting with the next event.
Attempting Co-op Battles Solo
- A team is comprised of three sync pairs. Create three individual teams using your own sync pairs to take on the challenge.
- Of the three teams, you only have control of the team placed in the center position on the Edit Team screen. The remaining two teams will act on auto mode during the battle.
- Rewards do not change, regardless of whether or not you attempt these battles on your own.
- The battle speed can only be adjusted when playing in single-player.
- You cannot assign the same sync pair or Trainer to more than one of your teams at the same time.
- The single-player battle settings will be used.
- Only the center sync pair will count toward such things as the progress of missions, the earning of XP, etc.
Important
- To unlock co-op battles, you must have completed Main Story Interlude 1: Let the Tournament Begin! (Normal) in single-player.
- The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those you can actually obtain.
