DeNA has announced that the Legendary Event The Beast That Devours the Sun will take place from December 6th, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. until January 3rd, 2021 at 9:59 p.m. in Pokémon Masters EX. The Legendary Arena Regirock and the Dawn and Brendan Spotlight Scout will take place from December 6th, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. until December 20th, 2020 at 9:59 p.m.

Event Details

You can complete battles and progress through the event to team up with Solgaleo!

You can collect Legendary Prize Coins B by completing battles, then use them to pull from the Prize Box!


When you pull a grand prize from the Prize Box, you can move on to the next Prize Box pool. Try collecting lots of rewards from the Prize Box!

Lv. 125 Unlocked!

In conjunction with this event, you will now be able train the Player Character & Solgaleo up to Lv. 125. Try making the Player Character & Solgaleo as strong as you can!

Event Missions

You can take on special missions during the event period. Check the Missions screen to learn more! Event medals are awarded for meeting certain conditions in event missions.

Exchange Items

Exchange Items is currently under way to mark the start of Legendary Event: The Beast That Devours the Sun. To exchange items for this event, go to the Exchange Items menu in the Shop, then look for the Legendary Event: The Beast That Devours the Sun section of the Event tab.

Custom Vouchers

The following items that were previously obtainable during the The Beast That Devours the Sun Legendary Event will no longer be useable.

• Custom Voucher 2
• Custom Super Voucher 2

Any of these items that remain when the event ends will be converted into coins (10 coins per item) and sent to your Present Box. Thank you for your understanding.

• This event's story is the same as the Legendary Event The Beast That Devours the Sun held from April 5, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. to April 23, 2020 at 9:59 p.m.
• Some of the battles and rewards in this event differ from the Legendary Event The Beast That Devours the Sun held from April 5, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. to April 23, 2020 at 9:59 p.m. Note: You can claim the rewards even if you previously completed the Legendary Event, The Beast That Devours the Sun.
• To participate, you must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those you can actually obtain.
• Items remaining in the prize box will no longer be obtainable after proceeding to the next prize pool.
• When the prize box closes, leftover Legendary Prize Coins B will be converted into coins (10 coins per Legendary Prize Coin B) and sent to your Present Box.
• Please note that if you fulfill the requirements to acquire the Player Character & Solgaleo after their Move Level has been upgraded to 5, you will get a 3★ Power-Up instead of a 5★ Power-Up.
• All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.

Legendary Arena Details

The Legendary Arena is a special battle area where you can form multiple teams and take on the challenge using a set number of sync pairs. Each difficulty level has a maximum number of sync pairs that can participate. Sync pairs that have already participated cannot do so again until the challenge has been reset. Strategically form teams for each Legendary Arena challenge and take on the boss! A button for checking battle strategy tips has been added to the battle difficulty selection screen.

Missions

You can earn Medals and other completion rewards that are only available during this Legendary Arena challenge period! Check the Missions screen to learn more! Note: For more details about missions, tap the Mission Completion Rewards button displayed on the Legendary Arena difficulty selection screen.

• To attempt Legendary Arena missions, you must have completed Main Story Chapter 2: Defeat Team Break! (Normal) in single-player.
• Your area info and mission completion data will be saved at the event’s conclusion and will be used the next time this event returns.

• While Legendary Arena missions will also be displayed on the General missions screen, they cannot be attempted outside of the challenge period.
