DeNA has announced that the Legendary Event New World Dilemma will take place from March 14th, 2021 at 11:00 p.m. until April 7th, 2021 at 10:59 p.m. and that the Lisia Spotlight Scout will take place from March 14th, 2021 at 11:00 p.m. until March 28th, 2021 at 10:59 p.m. in Pokémon Masters EX.

Legendary Event New World Dilemma

You can complete the event to team up with Cyrus & Palkia! Legendary Event: New World Dilemma is back! You can team up with Cyrus & Palkia in this event. With the Prize Box and Event Missions, you will be able to raise the potential and move level of Cyrus & Palkia to the highest level.

Event Details

You can collect Legendary Prize Coins F by completing battles, then use them to pull from the Prize Box!


When you pull a grand prize from the Prize Box, you can move on to the next Prize Box pool. Grand prizes include 5★-Guaranteed Scout Ticket, Cyrus & Palkia’s Custom ★ Power-Ups, and more!


In Full-Force Battles, you can obtain event medals by meeting set conditions, such as completing battles. Cyrus & Palkia are sure to come in handy for these battles. You can try to obtain all of the event medals!

Note: If you obtain a Medal you already have during this event, it will automatically be converted into 10 ★ Power-Ups of the same number of ★s.

Sync Grid Expanded and Lv. 130 Unlocked!

In conjunction with this event, Cyrus & Palkia’s Sync Grid will be expanded, and they can now be trained up to Lv. 130. Try making Cyrus & Palkia as strong as you can!

Event Missions

You can take on special missions during the event period. If you meet certain conditions in event missions, you can earn event medals and acquire Cyrus & Palkia more times to level up their moves. Check the Missions screen to learn more!

Note: When you acquire Cyrus & Palkia via event missions for the second, third, fourth, or fifth time, their move level will increase accordingly even if the corresponding animation and details are not displayed.

Exchange Items

Exchange Items is currently under way to mark the start of Legendary Event: New World Dilemma. If you no longer need to raise potential for Cyrus & Palkia, you can exchange Cyrus & Palkia’s Custom ★ Power-Ups that you get in the Prize Box for items such as 5★ Power-Ups.

Note: To exchange items for this event, go to the Exchange Items menu in the Shop, then look for the Legendary Event: New World Dilemma section of the Event tab.

• This event's story is the same as the Legendary Event: New World Dilemma held from August 16, 2020 at 11:00 p.m. to September 2, 2020 at 10:59 p.m.
• Some of the battles and rewards in this event differ from the Legendary Event: New World Dilemma held from August 16, 2020 at 11:00 p.m. to September 2, 2020 at 10:59 p.m. Note: You can claim the rewards even if you previously completed the Legendary Event: New World Dilemma.
• To participate, you must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those you can actually obtain.
• Items remaining in the prize box will no longer be obtainable after proceeding to the next prize pool.
• When the prize box closes, leftover Legendary Prize Coins F will be converted into coins (10 coins per Legendary Prize Coin F) and sent to your Present Box.
• Please note that if you fulfill the requirements to acquire Cyrus & Palkia after their Move Level has been upgraded to 5, you will get a 3★ Power-Up instead of a 5★ Power-Up.

• All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
