Niantic has announced that they have canceled the Pokémon GO Tour: Live 2022 event in Abu Dhabi due to the escalating violence in the region which lead to 2 missiles being intercepted over Abu Dhabi.

Pokémon GO Tour: Live Abu Dhabi Update

Dear Trainers,
We have been observing the situation in Abu Dhabi, and with our community in mind, we have decided to cancel the Pokémon GO Tour: Live event in Yas Bay, Abu Dhabi, on February 27, 2022.

Order refunds will be processed within the next two business days. It may take several days for your refund to appear in your account. Ticket holders will receive an additional email shortly.

While we’re disappointed we won’t be able to see you in Abu Dhabi, Pokémon GO Tour: Live will still take place in Monterrey, Mexico, and Kaohsiung, Taiwan, as scheduled.
