Niantic has announced a Regidrago global makeup event will take place on Saturday, May 13th, 2023 due to technical issues that occured during the Elite Raids on Saturday, March 11th, 2023.

PLAYER WARNING:

Niantic has restricted Elite Raids to Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes only. Players cannot access Elite Raid Battles with Remote Raid Passes. If there are dangerous storms, health restrictions or other reasons that would endanger you during the time period for this event in your area, please do not force yourself to venture out to participate in this event. Damage to devices may also occur in extreme heat and cold weather conditions.

Elite Raids: Regidrago returns in global makeup event

We apologize for the inconvenience our dedicated Trainers experienced during the initial appearance of Regidrago in March. Due to technical issues that occurred during this event, we’re holding a special global event on Saturday, May 13, 2023. We’re also releasing a special bundle for Trainers in the GMT +13 time zone who were most impacted by these issues.

During this event, all Trainers will be able to access the Timed Research originally planned for the Regidrago and Regieleki Elite Raid Days—even those who already completed it! All other gameplay aspects will be the same as the previous event.

Elite Raid: Regidrago

Regidrago will be appearing in Elite Raids around the world—again! Regidrago will hatch from Raid Eggs at the following times.

Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. local time
Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. local time
Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. local time

Timed Research

Two exclusive Timed Researches will be available to all Trainers from 11:00 a.m. local time to 6:00 p.m. local time on Saturday, May 13, 2023!

Complete the research tasks to earn Regirock Candy, Regice Candy, and Registeel Candy!

What are Elite Raids?

• Elite Raids are a challenging variety of Raid Battle that appear from special Raid Eggs. Once the Raid Egg hatches, a Raid Boss will appear for 30 minutes—but take note that Elite Raid Bosses can only be battled in-person. Gather your friends and prepare for an epic confrontation!
• Defeat Regidrago in an Elite Raid, and you’ll earn an opportunity to catch it.
• Remember, Trainers will not be able to participate in Elite Raids using Remote Raid Passes.

As a special thank-you for your patience with the issues experienced in your time zone, a bundle will be available in the in-game shop.

This bundle will be available for Trainers in the GMT +13 time zone from Friday, May 12, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. local time to Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. local time and will contain the following.

• 3 Premium Battle Passes
• 2 Silver Pinap Berries
