6 new Pokémon Utility Hole Covers, or PokéLid (Pokéfuta ポケふた) were unveiled for the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa Prefecture on April 16th, 2026. Each lid features a unique design for its area. The lids will be installed in Nanao City, Wajima City, Suzu City, Shika Town, Anamizu Town, and Noto Town. This is the first time PokéLids are being installed in the Noto Peninsula and they are scheduled to be installed starting on Wednesday, April 29th, 2026! Collaborative initiatives between the POKÉMON with YOU Foundation and these municipalities will also be rolled out gradually.


Each PokéLids is an original design and each is unique with the aim of promoting the appeal of Pokémon and each region they are installed in throughout Japan.

The PokéLids that are installed will gradually become PokéStops for the location-based game Pokémon GO for smartphones.
